As first-time home buyers coming from another state (with a baby in tow), Henry made the entire process easy and even fun. He spent a lot of time helping us get to know the area, and as a lifelong Wilmington resident, it's clear he knows the neighborhoods very well. He also was very patient in answering our many questions, and his knowledge as a builder was useful in evaluating each house. We found Henry through Zillow and couldn't have been happier. We had a very good experience with Henry. Henry is always in a good mood. You would never know he was working with anyone else while serving your needs. Henry has extensive knowledge of the building process and is a great asset when walking through homes. He has his finger on the pulse of what homes in the area should sell for as well. I came to depend on him when we would walk through potential homes. He never tried to fit us in something we were not looking for either. (which is unusual from my experiences with some realtors) We would recommend Henry without any reservations whatsoever!

Henry is very patient and knowledgable. He showed me well over 20 homes and treated each one like it was the first, if I had a question that he didn't have the answer to he got back to me promptly and when I did decide on a house he got it for $100000 below the asking price and seller paid the closing cost. He was so helpful in showing us a variety of properties so we could get a good feel for the area and the different price points. Being first time home owners was a very scary thought. However, Henry made that process much easier then anticipated. We were looking for a home between Jacksonville and Wilmington and Henry was willing to travel to any town in between to show us a house. When looking at a home there are so many details to think about and you don't always remember to look at every single thing. Henry was there right beside us pointing out some of the things we were forgetting to take into consideration. His knowledge about the real estate market was so helpful. Even more helpful was his knowledge about the structure and building aspect of the process. He was able to point out both positive and negative aspects of the homes. When dealing with the builder of our home, we had a few bumps in the road. Henry was always there to help straighten things out. The information he shared with us helped us make our decision to buy the home that we did. We could not be thankful enough for all of his help. Purchased a condominium in Wrightsville Beach. Henry was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. The first few agents we contacted were with well known agencies in town but were very slow and some did not respond at all. Henry is honest and helpful. We never felt pressured. Since we did not know the community very well, Henry's knowledge of the area was of great benefit. He was very patient as we narrowed down our search. We also liked that Henry showed us range of properties that helped us quickly narrow down the type of property and area we wanted to locate. Also, Henry's experience as a contractor gives him a unique perspective on construction issues. He was able to explain all the construction techniques we saw and answer our questions. He was not only very knowledgeable, professional, responsive, energetic, and creative, he is a wonderful person that made the home shopping experience totally pleasureable. Henry had previous experience as a home contractor, so he had great insights on the constuction of the homes we visited. He also went above and beyond the call of duty after we closed on the house providing us with various contractors (lawn service, cleaning service, security companies) all of which turned out to be excellent providers.

He's a pro and a southern gentleman - personable, listens intently, and goes to bat for you. Having a background in home construction came in very handy on a number of occasions when working with our home builder. For example, we were partially sold on trey ceilings in the bedrooms. During construction, we found they'd removed this feature. Henry negotiated with the builders to provide hardwood stairs and landing to the 2nd floor at no cost in exchange.

We chose Henry based on web reviews and we're very happy with our choice. Not only was Henry great to work with, his knowledge of Wilmington and the housing real estate was impressive. This was especially important to us as we were moving to Wilmington from out of state. Henry not only helped us long distance in buying the house, but afterward as well.

Henry listed my home for sale and also helped me find a new one. With the market being the way it is, we worked together for about a year and Henry always gave his best effort and advice.
